Development begins!

I've had some gamedev experience before, but this is a first project I decided to show to the public. I was quite surprised to see people being immediately interested in it. Thank you all for your replies on the Reddit post & my Mastodon page!

This game is basically my main passion project, so it will be Free/"Name your own price" on the release.

The overall design of the game is yet to be determined. Right now, it's just a blob of ideas floating in my ADHD brain. Core features of the game should be an exploration/interaction with various characters coupled with some puzzle elements. My main sources of inspiration are RPG Maker games like Space Funeral & Traditional Roguelikes (Nethack, ADOM, Caves of Qud, etc.)

Right now, there is some quirks around using sitelen pona (and toki pona in general) present when working in Godot Engine, but it is fun as hell to be able to make a quick prototype with it.

I'm going to work on this and my toki pona skills over the next few weeks, and post a new devlog soon after.

The journey begins!
